The Adriatic region remains one of the most prolific and underexplored HC provinces of the Central-Western Mediterranean region, with hidden potential that are just waiting to be discovered. Lately, this area (Italy, Croatia, Albania and Greece) has been the place of a rediscovered interest in the exploration activity by major oil companies, because of the encouraging HC potential and fiscal terms related to E&P activities.
